Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team in Kent, OH. This is a direct hire opportunity for a motivated and adaptable accounting professional with around 6 years of experience in financial preparation and general ledger activities. The ideal candidate will be hungry to learn, well-spoken, and team-oriented, with a strong desire to grow and take ownership of their responsibilities. The client is looking for someone with who is eager to absorb new tasks and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries

• Perform account and bank reconciliations (including international accounts)

• Maintain general ledger accuracy

• Support month-end close processes

• Assist with financial reporting

• Work extensively in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting preferred; Finance considered with strong accounting interest)

• At least 6 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively

• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $67,000.00 per year
