Social Media Account Manager (Contract to Hire) Job Type: Contract Salary: $25–$40/hr, based on experience We’re looking for a creative and driven Social Media Account Manager to oversee our team of content creators, community management, and advertiser post fulfillment across our media brands. What You’ll DoContent & Community ManagementEnsure organic and paid social strategies aligned with brand goalsCreate and schedule (or quality control created posts) across platform-native content (graphics, Reels, TikToks, etc.)Light design/editing of social posts (typically in Canva)Ensure enaging editorial content is consistent across media outlet social channelsMonitor and respond to DMs and comments; foster a strong online communityTrack trends, recommend new ideas, and ensure brand voice is consistentAdvertiser Post FulfillmentOversee sponsored post creation from asset collection to copywriting and publishingManage Meta ad campaigns (boosting, audience targeting, budget pacing, reporting)Coordinate with advertisers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely deliveryAnalytics & OptimizationMonitor performance metrics and KPIs; generate reports with actionable insightsOptimize campaigns based on performance dataManage content banks, multimedia assets, and user-generated contentCross-functional CollaborationLiaise with contractors, content creators, and agency teamsAttend weekly strategy meetings to brainstorm and review performanceSupport marketing efforts during events and in-house shootsCreate graphics and templates via CanvaEnsure deliverables stay on track using project management tools like ClickUpParticipate in a weekly strategy meeting to review performance, brainstorm campaign ideas, and iterate based on insights. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)3+ years social media experience (agency experience strongly preferred)1+ years experience running Meta adsStrong writing, storytelling, and visual content creation skillsExperience with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, and ClickUpProven ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines independentlyComfort with content capture (iPhone), being on-camera, and basic editing Bonus if You Have:Experience working with media or lifestyle brandsFamiliarity with influencer management and partnership developmentSkills in graphic design or light animationInterest in growing into a full-time or leadership role Our Team CultureChava’s HQ is in the historic Monte Vista neighborhood in San Antonio, Texas.
