As a Security Professional - - Industrial Facility - Full Time in Newton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. By remaining visible and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. You will also be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with all individuals on site, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with security-related inquiries and directions in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures for the location.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to maintain a secure environment tailored to the needs of a manufacturing and industrial setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
