An Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Real Estate Capital Markets practice. The group represents institutional lenders, investors, and property owners in complex disputes involving commercial properties. Core matters include foreclosure litigation, creditor’s rights, and commercial landlord-tenant disputes tied to broader capital markets activity. Associates work across all phases of litigation—strategy, motion practice, discovery (including e-discovery), and court appearances.

Role Overview:

  • Lead and support commercial foreclosure, creditor’s rights, and landlord-tenant matters

  • Draft and argue dispositive and discovery motions; manage written discovery and depositions

  • Collaborate with a nationally recognized team while owning portions of an independent docket

  • Interface with finance and capital markets colleagues on litigation emerging from transactions

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of commercial litigation experience

  • Real estate litigation background preferred

  • Strong research, writing, and NY citation skills

Compensation:
Starting salary: $260,000, plus comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities
