Develop a thorough understanding of the entire scope of work, including plans, specifications, logistics, materials, equipment, submittal and other requirements.
Perform buyouts to ensure budgets are maintained
As necessary, update plans and schedules for field staff
Work with Superintendents to coordinate subcontractors and manage on-site production.
Manage and push through all change-orders, RFI's, submittals, etc.
Build and maintain relationships with owners / clients

5+ years of experience in construction project management
Must have construction experience in the multifamily or commercial markets
Desire to learn and help others learn
Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical is an advantage
Working knowledge of construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
Desire to work locally in West Alabama
