We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced HR professional to lead the people strategy at our clients' Kansas City location. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, serving as a key partner to site leadership and employees alike. You’ll oversee a small but mighty team, including an HR Coordinator, and play a pivotal role in aligning local HR efforts with broader North American initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Coach and counsel managers on leadership, team development, and performance management.
Drive talent planning and workforce development to ensure the right capabilities are in place.
Lead performance management cycles, including goal setting, feedback, and development plans.
Manage sensitive employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion.
Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date, compliant, and consistently applied.
Oversee full-cycle recruitment for site roles, from sourcing to offer.
Continuously improve the onboarding experience to set new hires up for success.
Supervise the HR Coordinator in managing payroll, benefits, and day-to-day HR tasks.
Ensure accurate and timely execution of HR administrative processes.
Lead or contribute to HR projects such as compensation reviews, engagement surveys, and DEI programs.
Help shape and implement HR strategies that support business growth and employee engagement.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a generalist or business partner capacity.
Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR best practices.
Proven ability to coach leaders and navigate complex employee matters.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS platforms (UKG is a plus).
