This is a remote position.

Netrist is looking for a motivated Intern that will assist with key Human Resources initiatives. This internship will provide you with hands-on HR generalist experience. Under the direction of the Head of Human Resources, you will learn about the HR processes that are needed to keep a small tech company running effectively:

• Policy Administration:
  • Assist in developing, updating, and implementing personnel policies
• Payroll Administration
  • Help run payroll for multi-state employees
• Recruitment:
  • Assist in crafting job descriptions
  • Screen potential candidates
  • Coordinate team interviews and debriefs
  • Help maintain and update the RMS (Recruitment Management System)
    • Work with team leads to understand new job position needs
• Employee Onboarding:
  • Help conduct new hire orientation
  • Implement new hire training initiatives
• Employee Relations:
  • Conduct employee engagement surveys
  • Work with Senior members on quarterly reviews
  • Help maintain HRMS
• Benefits Administration:
  • Help employees understand their benefits
  • Help with 401k reporting compliance

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Human Resources or Business. At least 2 years of completed coursework is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and reside in the U.S.
