Job Title: CNC Programmer
Location: North Olmsted, OH
Pay: $70,000 – $85,000/year (depending on experience)
Shift: 1st Shift – Four 10s, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Our Elyria-based shop is a clean, well-run, and supportive team environment where everyone works together to get the job done. We are looking for a skilled  CNC Programmer who can set up, operate, troubleshoot, and improve machining processes.

Position Overview:
As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for interpreting specifications, programming CNC machines, and ensuring quality parts are produced to customer standards. You’ll play a hands-on role in machine setup, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (HAAS milling and lathe equipment preferred).
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and correct machining and programming issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD/CAM files, and technical drawings.
• Support prototype and production machining projects.
• Assist with process improvements and recommend changes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Perform inspections and ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of processes and updates to programs.
• Work collaboratively with team members and management to achieve production goals.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years CNC programming experience in a machining environment.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machine operations, setup, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar).
• Familiarity with HAAS milling and lathe equipment strongly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Hands-on, team-oriented attitude.

Education/Experience:

• 3+ years CNC programming and machine shop experience required.
• Prior background in machining, mechanical, or manufacturing environments.
