Join to apply for the Data Analyst role at Atlanta Airlines Terminal Company, LLC (AATC) Position Summary The Data Analyst reporting to the Senior Data Analyst is responsible for developing measurement tools to indicate the success/ value of improvement initiatives for AATC. The Data Analyst monitors compliments and complaints, ensuring that customer feedback is investigated and responded to promptly. The position participates in new product beta and delta testing and documentation. Also responsible for partnering with AATC staff/stakeholders to design and implement Data technology. Additionally, the Data Analyst will communicate real-time, actionable alerts to business partners and track company performance and business partner performance. This position is required to assist with special enterprise projects as assigned by the Senior Data Analyst and Vice President. Job Title: Data Analyst Pay Grade: 6 Salary: $60,588 Department: Enterprise Support Reports to: Enterprise Support Manager FLSA Status: Exempt Responsibilities Processes information in a disciplined and structured manner. Writes clear and concise proposals for new systems and procedures. Tracks company performance and Business Partner performance. Measures Data operations using metrics and analytics. Possesses detailed knowledge of custodial agreements with Business Partners. Receives and distributes filming advisories from DOA and Delta Air Lines Receives customer compliments/complaints, investigates and prepares responses. Readily resolves service discrepancies. Participates in collaborative design and implementation of Data technology. Communicates project status to supervisor and frontline employees. Designs dashboards for service failures that isolate performance by attribute, allowing management to drill down to root cause/problem areas. Develop ad-hoc reports and analysis. Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata. Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements. Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization. Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems. Generating reports from single or multiple systems. Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports. Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems. Training end users on new reports and dashboards. Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing. Qualifications And Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in computer science or similar experience in lieu of college. Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field. Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks. Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations. Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms. High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large scale databases. Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases. Understanding of addressing and metadata standards. High-level written and verbal communication skills. Must be highly skilled in MS Office (Particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook), scripting language (Matlab, Python), Querying Language (SQL, Hive, Pig), Spreadsheet (Excel) and Statistical Language (SAS, R, SPSS). Other computer skills include; programming (Javascript, XML), big data tools (Spark, Hive HQL). Success Characteristics Able to write clear and concise proposals for new systems and procedures. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization is essential. Excellent verbal and written skills Success attributes for the position are robust quantitative and analytical skills. Skill in communicating complex ideas thoroughly and succinctly is a must. Attention to Details Vigilance in ensuring that conclusions are thoroughly supported. Strong problem solving, creative skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis. Ability to train and support users on new updates/enhancements as needed. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and results-orientation.
