Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Fiduciary to join our private practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing court-appointed guardianships, conservatorships, trusts, and representative payee services. This role requires a deep understanding of fiduciary responsibilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Guardianships and Conservatorships - Oversee the personal and financial affairs of clients under guardianship or conservatorship. - Ensure compliance with court orders and legal obligations.
  • Administer Trusts - Manage trust assets and ensure distributions are made according to trust agreements. - Provide regular reporting and updates to beneficiaries.
  • Act as Representative Payee - Handle Social Security and other government benefit payments on behalf of clients. - Ensure proper use of funds in accordance with client needs and legal guidelines.
  • Client Communication - Maintain regular communication with clients and their families to discuss their needs and preferences. - Provide guidance and support to clients in making informed decisions.
  • Documentation and Reporting - Prepare and file required reports to the court and other stakeholders. - Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for all clients.

Qualifications:

  • Current fiduciary licensure in good standing for the State of Arizona.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, social work, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in fiduciary services, guardianship, conservatorship, or trust administration.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing fiduciary practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Must be willing to travel. Our firm currently services cases covering all of the Phoenix Metropolitan area in Maricopa County & and the occasional case in Pinal County. However, we are licensed state wide and looking to expand into Coconino County soon. (This does not necessarily mean that you will be required to go to Coconino County, but will be required to travel the Valley, with mileage reimbursement of course)
