Pay rate: $45/hour (per diem available for eligible candidates)

Shifts: 1st and 2nd

Duration: Open-ended long-term contract (with option to convert to direct hire)

Description:

• Seeking Assembly Mechanics that will be working in a role that requires an Active Secret Clearance.
• Perform fabrication, change incorporation, assembly, and rework of sheet metal and/or composite components.
• Work with blueprints, changes, specifications, and work orders to assemble and install structural components.
• Setup and perform all manual and automated assembly operations required to accomplish assignments.
• Move and/or obtain correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, etc.
• Use precision measuring instruments required to accomplish assignments.
• Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training, coaching, and assisting employees of all experience and classification levels.
• Document any discrepancies according to specification, process, and procedure.

Work Environment:

• Assembly Mechanics will be working in an aviation manufacturing environment that will be considered secret and only accessible to those with the proper credentials.
• All tools are provided.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications:

• Composite & Titanium Drilling
• Composite & Sheet Metal Fabrication
• Sealing – seal parts and assemblies, fillet and fay seal, apply leveling compound or scotch cast, etc.
• Precision Bench Assembly – Assemble precision aircraft parts and assemblies such as landing gear
• Sub-Assembly – Assemble parts to make sub-assemblies using templates, jigs, and fixtures

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
